Empty contents from tank, rinse, and refill as necessary. Cleaning your K&H Waterer To keep your K&H Waterer clean and free from buildup, follow these simple steps: Prepare the Cleaning Solution: Add hot water to the waterer bottle. Add 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda. Pour in 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar. Add a handful of small, smooth rocks to the bottle. These will help scrub away any debris during cleaning. Clean the Bottle: Secure the cap and gently shake the bottle to mix the solution and rocks. Swish the mixture around for a few minutes, allowing the rocks to scrub the inside of the bottle. Rinse Thoroughly: Empty the solution and rinse the bottle thoroughly with warm water to ensure all baking soda, vinegar, and debris are removed. Let the bottle air dry completely before refilling with fresh water. Regular cleaning will help keep your K&H Waterer in great condition and provide your pets with clean, fresh water!
